This week, the show is devoted to the celebration of everyone's favorite holiday, Valentine's Day! Featuring guest contributors sharing their stories of sweetness and romantic woes. This week's guest is straight out of a John Hughes movie -- it's my great buddy Patrick Parsons, who's here to share the story that saw him hop a Valentine's Day flight to New York City to profess his love to the woman that would eventually become his wife and the mother of his child. We'll also talk about reading books about serial killers on a plane, the culture shock of a small town man in The Big Apple, and Times Square panhandlers.
This week, we're chatting with Spencer Rothbell, the voice of titular character on Cartoon Network's Clarence! We chat about many things including where inspiration for a cartoon storyline comes from, a farting cactus, his chance encounter with Jack McBrayer, and working with the legendary Cloris Leachman. Also on this episode, Beau talks about cleaning out the leftover clutter from the recent basement remodel and scheduling a showing for his house (which isn't even on the market). Plus, a walk down cartoon memory lane as we name off listeners' favorite cartoons.
The Beaucephus Broadcast returns with Episode 3! This week, Beau takes a look at driving habits and the frustrations and dangers of Facebook swap shops. We'll talk at length about music and how it provided the soundtrack for various points of Beau's life. And we'll wrap things up in the form of a chat with guitarist Andrew Trube of Austin-based blues/soul band Greyhounds as they wrap up their tour in support of their 2016 release, "Change of Pace."
This week on The Beaucephus Broadcast, Beau steps outside of his comfort zone to talk politics, specifically the recent inauguration. He'll sit down with his good friend and former Mike Pence intern Sean McAvoy, the new Beaucephus Broadcast Chief Political Correspondent. Also on the program is internet darling and overnight success story Ken Bone, who rose to fame during the presidental debate in St. Louis back in October of 2016. Ken discusses how that fateful night changed his life, that iconic red sweater, his weight loss success, and some of the best places to grab a bite to eat in the St. Louis area.
The debut episode of The Beaucephus Broadcast! Beau talks being pigeonholed at music trivia events, ways to make social media better in 2017, and the best of Facebook swap shops. Plus, a sit-down with John Stumpf, World's Strongest Boy.
